How we got here
Innovative Business Services was founded over 20 years ago on a simple belief: small businesses deserve the same quality of financial support and advisory as large ones — without the overhead, the runaround, or the feeling that you're just another account number.
Lisa's background is in hospitality — but not just the operational side. She served as Director of Operations for a management company, where her work was largely focused on the financial aspects of the business. That experience gave her a ground-level understanding of how financial decisions play out in the real world, and it shaped how IBS approaches every client: practically, personally, and always with your reality in mind.
Devin has been deeply involved in the work at IBS for over a decade, bringing hands-on experience across a wide range of industries and business types. That breadth gives him a sharp eye for what financial challenges actually look like in practice — and how to solve them in ways that fit each business's unique situation.
Together, they've worked with businesses across a wide range of industries — from startups to established operations, from owners to staff. That range of experience means IBS brings a genuinely broad perspective to every engagement.
Today, IBS serves clients across the United States. The team is still two people. That's deliberate.
